Savanna
Pulse
Warm percussion, deep grooves and luminous melodic textures carry the track across a wide-open landscape filled with motion, heat and light.
The Story Behind the Track
Savanna Pulse was born from a real journey. In December 2025, my former sister-in-law Nadine and her friend Ilka — known as Elli — began an extraordinary bicycle adventure across Africa. As the two cyclists behind Radmiezen, they started in Kenya and have continued through eastern and southern Africa, sharing the landscapes, encounters and challenges of life on the road.
Their journey sparked the idea for this track. I wanted to translate the steady motion of the bicycles, the vastness of the landscape and the courage to keep moving forward into music: warm percussion for the pulse of the road, a deep groove for the turning wheels and luminous melodies for the open horizon.
Savanna Pulse is my musical tribute to a journey that is still unfolding — shaped by freedom, endurance, friendship and the rhythm of discovery.
